As a consumer, when you place an order on Trabiss Metrology’s website/webshop, you have the right to cancel the agreement within 14 days without stating any reasons. This is called the right of withdrawal, during which period you may assess the product as you would in a physical store, unless stated otherwise.
Cancellation must be done through an unambiguous statement. You can cancel either in writing or orally. Written cancellation (such as via email) is preferred because it is up to you to prove that you have exercised your right of withdrawal correctly and in a timely manner.
Therefore, we recommend using our model withdrawal form: model form.
Once you have indicated your intention to exercise the right of withdrawal, we will make arrangements with you for the return.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day:
- You received the item
- For multiple items in one order, delivered separately: the day you received the last item
- For an item consisting of several components: the day you received the last component
You can only return the item if:
- The item is complete
- In its original condition and factory packaging
Note: For any depreciation in value that occurs because the item has been damaged, used, parts are missing, or it has been used in a manner other than would be typical in a store, we may hold you liable and charge any associated costs.
Please note that these regulations only apply to our Glass Linear Scales and other DRO products. High-voltage power supplies and other customized items cannot be returned under any circumstances.
Warranty
By making a purchase from Trabiss Metrology through phone, internet, or any other means, you agree to our general webshop terms and conditions.
Trabiss Metrology will only honor warranties as set forth in this written document. No other warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are valid or honored.
Trabiss Metrology products are supplied with a 1-year warranty, guaranteeing them to be free from manufacturing defects in material and/or workmanship. If the product is found to be defective, Trabiss Metrology will replace or repair the product free of charge within 1 year from the date of the original purchase.
